Context
HY Empreendimentos needed a digital presence that matched its real-estate developments: an institutional website that spoke to both Brazilian and international audiences, plus its own editorial space — the Diário (journal) — to publish news without depending on third parties.
Challenge
Deliver a complete product in three languages (Portuguese, English and Spanish), with a structured blog and a publishing flow simple enough for the client to keep alive — all within the timeline and budget of a small studio.
Solution
I ran the project end to end: client conversations, prototyping, interface and code. The site was built with Next.js (App Router) and MDX content, works as a PWA — installable and browsable offline — and ships through continuous deployment: every push goes straight to production. In the development flow I used AI (Claude Code) as a pair programmer, which let me go from design to launch with the speed of a much larger team.
"Design, code and publishing in one flow — no handoff lost in between."
Outcome
The site is live in three languages, with the Diário publishing original content. Validation came from real use: the client put the site in the hands of his sales brokers, who now use it daily as part of their selling routine.
What I would do differently
With more time, I would have run moderated, recorded usability sessions with the brokers — validation happened through real-world use led by the client, but without formal session recordings.
