Context
Photographer Leandro Boeira needed a portfolio that presented his work to clients in Brazil and abroad — fast, pleasant to browse and easy to keep up to date.
Challenge
Photography demands large imagery and light loading at the same time. The international audience also required the site in three languages, each with proper SEO (canonical, hreflang, sitemap) — details that portfolio sites usually leave out.
Solution
I designed and built the site with Next.js, in three languages (pt/en/es), plus a PWA layer: the portfolio can be installed on a phone and stays browsable offline, with a cache that updates itself on every release. Development was driven with AI (Claude Code) in the daily flow — from prototype to deploy.
The multilingual + PWA foundation was extracted into a reusable starter: the engineering decisions from this project became a documented starting point for the next ones.

Outcome
The site is live in three languages, installable as an app, with per-language structured SEO. And a valuable side effect: the starter born here sped up the studio's following projects.
